Mortar doesn't decide your state's job-value cap. Work that needs a license is worded as arranged with a licensed contractor. There is no UK twin of this page.

Limits

Say what you'll do. Don't claim the license you don't hold.

Handyman rules vary by state, including how much a job can be worth before a license is required. Add only the work you're allowed to do.

Questions

Handyman businesses ask us

Will Mortar tell me what my state allows?

No. Job-value caps and license rules are yours to check. Mortar only shows the services you've added, and it won't describe licensed work as yours.

There isn't a UK version of this page. Is that right?

Yes. This trade is published for the US. The country switch takes you to the UK homepage.

Does it sync with QuickBooks?

Yes. Invoices, payments and expenses sync to QuickBooks Online (and Xero), so sales tax reporting stays where your bookkeeper works.

I already have a website. Can I keep my domain?

Yes. Connect your domain and Morris rebuilds the site around your services and cities. Your email stays where it is.

What does it cost for a crew of five?

$49 a month. Mortar is one flat price per business, not per user or per tech.
