FAQ

Quoting questions.

What's the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote is a fixed price for the job. An estimate is your best guess, which can change. Mortar labels each clearly so customers know what they're agreeing to.

Can customers accept on their phone?

Yes. They open the link, read the quote, and accept with a tap and signature — no app or login needed.

Does Morris set my prices?

No. Morris uses your notes and your price list to lay out the quote. It never invents prices — you check everything before it's sent.

I'm not VAT registered. Is that OK?

Yes. Turn VAT off and your quotes show the total without it.

Is quoting included in the price?

Yes. Unlimited quotes are included in your Mortar plan, along with everything else.
