Invoice in a tap. Paid before you're home.
Invoicing software for tradespeople. Turn a finished job into an invoice in one tap, take card payments on the spot, and let Mortar chase the late payers.
Example invoice from Hartley Roofing for Mr Patel, £1,032.00, for a roof repair at 14 Elm Road.

FAQ
Invoicing questions.
When does the money reach my bank?
Card payments are paid out to your bank account automatically.
Can customers still pay by bank transfer?
Yes. Your bank details appear on every invoice, and you can mark it paid in a tap.
Can I pass card fees on to the customer?
In the UK it's generally not allowed to surcharge consumers for card payments, so most trades build it into their prices. Check the rules that apply to your business.
Does it work with my accountant's software?
Yes. Invoices and payments sync to Xero and QuickBooks, ready for VAT and Making Tax Digital. Mortar is not tax software and doesn't file with HMRC.
How many invoices can I send?
As many as you like. Invoicing is included in your Mortar plan.
